Holiday Club: 27 October 2016. Dramatic Monologues – (7-11 Yrs)

£55.00

Led by Jona Fanzel

Join professional writer and comedian Jonah Fanzel for a fun and inspiring morning of creating characters and writing and performing monologues. Perfect for anyone with an interest in creative writing or drama. By the end of the session you will have learnt how to create a realistic, and fantastic, three-dimensional character as well as how to structure a whole play!

Creating believable, colourful characters is the cornerstone of successful creative writing, in whichever form you choose, and this workshop will ensure that all the participants leave with a really good understanding of one way to achieve this. Once the characters exist, and we know what sort of journey we, as writers, are sending them on, we can capture their voice and desires in a monologue – one of the most intimate and immediate forms of dramatic writing.

During the session we will play a lot of games, generate loads of ideas, and create unique characters with fascinating stories.
Your child will receive individual written feedback at the end of the course.
